3D-Printed Letterpress Adapter for PS-001
This is an experimental adapter for the PRIXEL Press (PS-001). The adapter consists of two parts that make it easier to burnish a print on paper or run the press through a traditional printing press.
You can download and print these parts yourself or order them through our third party 3D printing partner, Slant3D. We don't make any money on these—the price is set to the absolute minimum to cover printing and shipping costs.
Setup Rim
Creates a rim around the setup plate, flush with the type, that paper can be taped to. Makes it easier to get accurate registration for multi-colored prints. Also makes it easier to use a baren or similar tool to apply pressure.
Letterpress Base
Raises the print surface to "type high" (0.918") for letterpress printing (e.g. Provisional Press).
